Coffee break at The Black Lion in Abergorlech
We were passing through Abergorlech for the first time the other day and just had to stop to take photos of the view from the bridge - even though it was raining off and on!
We parked in the car park of the Black Lion and called in to say hello.
Phillip and Lynette Kane were very welcoming but unfortunately we couldn't have a meal as we were too early, and in any case they were already fully booked. I'm not surprised as the menu looked very inviting.
We did have a freshly-made coffee in the beer garden and enjoyed the views of the river and the scent of the flowers.
We are looking forward to going back on a sunny day!
