We had a lovely visit to The National Wool Museum near Newcastle Emlyn.https://museum.wales/wool/about/ It took me about 40 minutes to drive there from Lan Chalet.
It’s fascinating to see the old machinery working, and to learn about the history of wool production in Wales.
There’s plenty of parking, free entry and very helpful staff. The café is spotless and the food delicious. I had carrot soup with a bread roll and butter, and it was just right for a light lunch before touring the museum.
