We had a lovely visit to The National Wool Museum near Newcastle Emlyn.https:\/\/museum.wales\/wool\/about\/<\/a>\u00a0 It took me about 40 minutes to drive there from Lan Chalet.<\/p>\n

It’s fascinating to see the old machinery working, and to learn about the history of wool production in Wales.<\/p>\n

There’s plenty of parking, free entry and very helpful staff. The caf\u00e9 is spotless and the food delicious. I had carrot soup with a bread roll and butter, and it was just right for a light lunch before touring the museum.<\/p>\n
