<\/p>\n

Well worth a visit for garden-lovers is Aberglasney  Gardens – just 6 minutes’ drive from Lan Chalet.  https:\/\/aberglasney.org<\/a>    We spent a relaxing couple of hours strolling around the gardens in the sun this morning. <\/p>\n\n\n

The vegetable gardens were particularly inspiring – heavily-laden espalier apple trees grown as a low border surrounding the ‘vegetable and fruit’ patch filled with masses of strawberry plants and rhubarb.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rose garden was spectacular, and smelt amazing.  We enjoyed exploring the meandering paths, and the rose-covered walkway was a real treat. We found a secluded bench and spent a lovely few minutes just breathing in the delicate perfume and soaking up the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t forget your camera when you visit. We took loads of photos, but my favourite is of some daisies growing in a wall:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
